Colorbar Perfect Match Beauty Balm BB Cream Review, Swatches, Price, Buy Online India
I seem to be drawn more towards BB Creams and CC Creams rather than foundations. Even in my base makeup stash I have noticed that I do have a huge amount of bb creams rather than foundations. For an everyday basis I can’t deal with putting tons of makeup on and bb creams are the best way to get that polished look without being overly made up. One such BB Cream that I tend to use a lot is the Colorbar Perfect Match BB Cream,

The BB Cream comes in a slim cardboard outer packaging which is printed with the same pattern as the product insite. Colorbar bb cream comes in a squeeze tube type packaging which I really like. It is very easy to control the amount of product that comes out unlike pump or other types of dispensers which make it so hard to get the right amount of product out.
The Colorbar BB cream comes in 4 shades that range from pale to medium/ mediun-dusky skin tones. Those who are dusky might find it a little hard to blend in the darkest shade with their complexion. The Indian market needs to focus more on bringing out shades for darker skin tones. I have the shade Vanilla Creme which is the second lightest shade and though it is my actually skin color, it still does not suit me very well because of a strong yellow undertone. I’m pretty neutral toned it is very hard for me to find a product with not so much yellow in it.
The BB Cream texture is somewhere in between a mousse or a whipped foundation and a thick full coverage liquid foundation. It is light and fluffy at the same time creamy and slightly runny. It won’t run off your hand if you put it on. Though the consistency is really good, it does tend to apply patchily, especially on dry skin. I have dry skin and I definitely cannot use this alone. I always moisturize before using this. Oily skinned people might find this would work pretty well for them.
Colorbar BB cream has light to medium buildable coverage and gives a very evened out finish to the skin. It does not look cakey or heavy on the face and does not settle into fine lines or pores. If you have dry patches though it will cling to the dry patches a little and tends to make dry skin look flaky. Well moisturized skin though will not have problems with this.
The BB Cream lasted on my dry skin for about 6 hours after which my natural oils started welling up. I expect this to last around 5 hours on an average for almost all skin types.
