It’s twelve in the night and I’m procrastinating because my bestie is sitting next to me and distracting me from writing. The Maybelline Fit Me compact powder comes in a black square packaging with a clear lid. The packaging has the Fit Me Logo printed on it. I think the packaging is pretty basic for the price we’re paying for it. The Maybelline White Super Fresh compacts had a better packaging according to me. The Compact comes with the pan on the top and a mirror and a sponge compartment on the bottom. The lid closes with a click and is very secure to even travel with. The plastic feels a little flimsy and I need to be a little careful every time I use it lest I break it.
The Maybelline Fit Me comes in five shades in India but wherever I went there were only four shades so I think the fifth shade is not even available anywhere. The shades are called 120 Classic Ivory, 130 Buff Beige, 220 Natural Beige, 230 Natural Buff, 310 Sun Beige.
The international counterpart of the Fit Me powders have 18 shades which makes 5 look like a disappointment in India.
The shades Maybelline Fit Me Powder comes in India are just way too light to be used on Indian Skin tones. As you can see from the swatches, I wouldn’t even find a match for myself even though I’m fair-medium skinned. I would just call these powders white. I’m pretty disappointed with the shades. I’m not even going to try and describe the colors at all as they’re all just varying amounts of white.
The Maybelline Fit Me Compact is very finely milled and pressed. The pan kicks up a lot of product when swirled with a brush and the texture when applied is very powdery and just sits on the skin. You would need a finishing spray of some sort when you use this powder to get rid of the powdery look from the skin.
